About Me
Lo Höckner
I’m also training in the trauma resolution method Somatic Experiencing, which deeply informs my somatic work and from which I draw to create a trauma-informed space. If you are interested in this method, I’m happy to talk to you about it and explore, if it might be something you want to try with me or someone else.
Furthermore, I’m initiator of the Embodied Social Justice Learning Circle in Berlin—a place for learning and practicing together as a way to move toward collective liberation, healing, social transformation and as a communal resource, recognizing that we are relational beings and thus, any change we want needs to be in relation.
In addition to my somatic work, I’m a freelance choreographer and performance artist, with a deep love for movement, dance, martial arts and writing.
I came to somatic bodywork through dance and movement practices as well as a deep interest in the body. To discover my body from my own felt experience was cruicial for me in many ways. I therefore wish to make this somatic world accessible to other people and offer a sensitive space especially for queer and trans related topics.
